The Platinum Tools
742C
is a waterproof cable end housing for use as a replacement for 740C in-line waterproof RJ45 coupler, or as an additional end housing for use with 741C bulkhead RJ45 waterproof coupler. The end housing is assembled on a cable end prior to termination with an RJ45 connector and is then screwed onto the coupler or bulkhead body. The gasketed housing/body screw mating system is secure and rated IP67 waterproof and dustproof. The unit is rated for Cat5e/Cat6 and the cable jacket has an OD range of .216″-.276″ (5.5 – 7.0mm).
